Clarke Otten is a noted historian who lectures frequently. In his own words he is a storyteller who likes to educate others through words and images. As his career as a lecturer advanced he found himself increasingly calling on his previous background experience as a commercial photographer and a graphics editor to enhance his storytelling presentations. This ultimately grew in to his filming and producing segments to integrate into his lectures.
Eventually he collected so much production gear to meet his own ends that he realized if he also had the right staff and appropriate facilities he could open his own production house. After all film is the ultimate storytelling medium. Thus Southern Heritage was born.
