The dashboard shows your renter activity all in one place, when you log into your Scoutplex account from your computer. The information in your dashboard is updated automatically, so you can see the progress you’re making toward your hosting goals.
Respond to pending reservation requests and booking inquiries.
The Pending Requests and Inquiries section is designed to help you focus on the guests who are waiting for your response. You can click on any request or inquiry to see the full message and respond, so each line is an opportunity to confirm or pre-approve a reservation.
Each message is labeled with the dates the guest is interested in booking and the amount of money you’d earn for the reservation. For reservation requests, there’s a countdown clock that tells you how much time you have to respond before the request expires. You can also dismiss any of the messages by clicking the Cancel Request. Dismissing a message doesn’t erase it—you’ll still be able to find it in your inbox.
Messaging on Scoutplex starts when a guest makes an inquiry or reservation request. Afterward, all messages related to that inquiry or reservation request will appear in your inbox.
To view or send a message:
- Click the envelope icon in the top-right corner of scoutplex.com.
- Once inside your inbox, you’ll see a message thread for each inquiry or reservation. Click a message thread to view old messages or send a new one.
